FURNACE INSTALLATION
SOUTH BRUNSWICK FURNACE INSTALLATION
Upfront Pricing for Furnace Installation in North Brunswick, NJ
South Brunswick Township, NJ, reaches cold temperatures during the winter months, so it’s important to have a quality furnace on your side. The question isn’t if you need a furnace, but what kind of furnace install is best for you? The experts at Right On Air Conditioning and Heating are experienced in all forms of heater installations. With our expertise, you can count on an efficient and reliable install.
Types of Heating Systems
We have decades of experience installing all three major types of heating systems:
- Furnaces
- Boilers
- Heat pumps
Our professionals can help you determine which type is the best fit for your home. Until then, here are some brief descriptions for you to consider.
Furnace Installations
A furnace may be in your best interest if you already have ductwork installed in your home. Furnaces heat the air and push the warmed air through the ductwork with a fan.
Electric
An electric furnace installation requires a dedicated circuit and little else. Our team specializes in electric furnace installations and has years of experience to prove it. These machines are relatively easy to install and heat the home evenly.
Gas
A gas furnace installation requires a gas line to fuel the furnace, which we can add if there isn’t one already present. Gas furnace installations can be tricky if you don’t currently have a gas line connected to your home. But don’t fret!
Right On Air Conditioning and Heating has installed many gas furnaces in the South Brunswick Township area. We’re prepared to get you set up and ready for winter.
Boiler Installations
A boiler system heats water and pushes the hot water or steam through the home via pipes. The water fills radiators throughout the home and warms the rooms to a comfortable temperature.
Boilers heat your home quicker than air because water is an excellent transporter of thermal energy. Their energy source can be either gas, electric, or oil. Ask us to find out which one would fit best for your home.
Heat Pump Installations
A heat pump is an outside unit much like your current air conditioning unit. Heat pumps regulate the temperature within the home by transferring heat and cold appropriately. During the colder months, the heat transfers heat out of the air or ground (even when it seems freezing) and transfers it into the home. It still uses refrigerant to produce a heat transfer.
Our professionals can install a heat pump as a standalone unit or combine it with a current furnace. A furnace and heat pump system is called a dual-fuel system. When the temperature drops too low for the heat pump to extract warmth, the furnace picks up the slack. This combination of heaters is very cost-effective and energy-efficient.
The Ins and Outs of Installations
Furnace, boiler, and heat pump installations are more involved than coming to your home and installing a new appliance. Our technicians come out to your home to perform a load calculation. This calculation considers your home’s insulation, type and number of windows, and other particulars to determine the right-sized unit for your home.
At Right On Air Conditioning and Heating, we don’t want to sell you the biggest unit. We want you to have the furnace you need to make your family comfortable during the colder months.
Our technicians check the ductwork (if any) to confirm it is the right size for the amount of air your new furnace will produce. We also verify the current ductwork is in good working order.
We then check your gas lines and electrical wiring to ensure your home is appropriately equipped to handle the new load. The electrical panel may have to be upgraded in older homes, but that is on a case-by-case basis.
We also check your current air conditioner unit to make sure the new furnace is compatible with your current AC system.
After the Installation
Once everything is installed, our team does a quick clean-up and starts a series of tests. We not only want to make sure the installation is hooked up properly, but we also need to verify there are no air or gas leaks. We also check that the electrical load isn’t too much for your home.
We test the thermostat settings to ensure the furnace, boiler, or heat pump turns on and works properly. We verify the ducts, gas lines, and pipes and are snuggly connected and performing up to our high standards.
One of our specialists will then set up a future appointment with you so one of our technicians can do the tests again and ask you if you are happy with your furnace, boiler, or heat pump’s performance.
